Cuomo Construction :: Expanding Your Living, Work or Play Space
It is personally rewarding when our new homeowners come to us first when it is time to expand. Over the years we have once again helped our new homeowners realize their dreams to add on, finish existing space or build new outdoor spaces.
Cuomo Construction is extremely sensitive to additions, understanding that the most homeowners will live in the home while the new space is being constructed. We understand that we have to be extremely flexible and sensitive to work around the daily lives of busy families.
Consideration to construction and design continuity is of the utmost importance to any addition or expansion. We will work with architects, engineers, and design professionals to assure your home maintains these important aspects for long-term value.

This expansion fits perfectly in its country setting. The family needed more space for recreational vehicles including the family boat and the solution was found by building this beautiful structure measuring 30 by 32 complete with knotty Pine stained shiplap siding. The boat has a new home and this expansion could offer additional living space on the second floor if so desired.

This custom home was built in 1998 with an original square footage of 2900. The proud owners opted to expand a few years later rather than leave this home that is truly loved. The addition added over 1900 square feet of living space and has been designed to blend in exquisitely. The main feature of the expansion is the 30 x 32 family room with a true Victorian design. The room features a masonry fireplace adorned with an antique Victorian mantel. The room has custom oak panels throughout complete with boxed window with window seat. The room also features custom oak crown moldings, a columned entry into the main house and large French doors to the patio. An additional Oak stairway was added to access the new second floor seating area, new bedroom suite complete with a new bath.

Not long after this couple's home was completed, the owners needed more utilitarian space for the landscaping machinery and a place for swimmers to change. The answer was found by adding a second garage with a charming carriage house feel. The structure is 36 x 24 feet and accommodates the needs of the family very easily by having a cabana room incorporated into the design. There is also access to the second floor loft which features windows and French doors. |
